The nurses are very accommodating and informative when I call. They're doing cognitive therapy and physical therapy. They have a beauty salon and ice cream parlor, but all of that have been closed because of COVID19. Belmont Village Geneva Road is located in the greater-Chicago area, on farmland north of Wheaton, in the Village of Carol Stream.
It's just a different atmosphere. My mom is still in rehabilitation. From what I can tell, the people that work there are fantastic. I haven't been able to visit it, so I have no idea but we're happy with it so far.

Rock Run was a great place for our loved one. Too bad zero starts isn’t an option. All I have to say is Wow, they treat visiting family members like criminals where you can’t see your beloved in the home.

They have a hospital environment, and they have nursing care there. The staff is unbelievably different. You walk in and there are nurses everywhere. In the rehab unit, they are constantly with people, working.
I don't know the description of the place. With the COVID19, we can't get in to see anything, but my mom seems to be somewhat happy there. Obviously, she wants to come home. I talked to the therapist, my mom seems to be doing well, and they seem to be taking good care of her.

Most nurses and CNA'S are pleasant. They try to help but have 9-11 people to care for so not always available right away. Rehab staff did a really great job! This facility does not have your meds available for you when you arrive. They have to order and get delivered the next day from out of town.
